Coteccons Marathon, with the theme “Green Up”, aims to promote a healthy lifestyle through a joyful, sporty, energetic, and green marathon. The event is not only a race to win the championship but also an opportunity to promote a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. With the theme “Green Up”, the Coteccons Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 will make use of recycled and environmentally friendly materials. Moreover, for every 5km that athletes complete, Coteccons will plant one more tree in Vietnam’s journey towards a greener environment.

Nearly 150 employees of Coteccons – Unicons participated in the annual blood donation activity held on the morning of November 23, 2022.   Every drop of blood donated is a hope that is lit for emergency patients. With this spirit, the blood donation program is organized by Coteccons – Unicons Trade Union in collaboration with Binh Thanh District Union and Center for Donation. Ho Chi Minh City’s blood donation took place at Hall G, Coteccons office on November 23, 2022.   This is an annual activity held at Coteccons to show the spirit of solidarity and action for the community of the Coteccons people. After only 4 days, the program has received nearly 150 applications for blood donation from employees. The Humanitarian Blood Donation Program is organized by Coteccons – Unicons Trade Union in collaboration with Binh Thanh District Federation and Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center.   The organization is well-prepared, meticulous, and considerate. The collected blood units will be transported to the National Institute of Hematology—Blood Transfusion for preservation before being distributed to hospitals and research institutes in the vicinity in order to save people and create medical products. Blood products are used in medicine. Blood donation is well-prepared according to the process of Ho Chi Minh City

The working environment takes up most of the living space of staff, especially when it comes to civil engineers, who work specifically at construction sites every day. Green Day activities are organized every Friday to keep the construction site ‘green’, thus creating a clean working environment. Everyone from the Site Management Board to the Subcontractors is engaged in common work like cleaning and garbage collection. This Green Day activity partly helps each other relieve work pressure, creates a cohesive atmosphere, and above all raises awareness of protecting the living environment – a “green, clean, beautiful and safe” construction site. Following the “Green Friday”, Ixora Ho Tram tries to maintain the habit of cleaning ‘house’ every Thursday from 07:00 to 07:40. Mr. Ngoc Hao – Site Manager and members of the Site Management Board all rolled up their sleeves to collect garbage, and plastic bottles to help protect the environment while providing a clean and tidy working space for the Ixora Ho Tram project. With Green Day activities, Le Meridien Resort & Spa and Ixora Ho Tram hope to spread the message “Green – Clean – Safe” – “Green Office” to other construction sites of Coteccons.

World Environment Day 05.06, the Site Management Board of NovaWorld Phan Thiet has implemented the action program “For a brighter life” for a green, clean, and beautiful environment, responding to the #GreenUp campaign with Novaland to clean the beach in Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet. The event was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Phan Thiet People’s Committee and contractors.
