Ho Chi Minh City, January 30, 2024 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the Department of Information & Communications and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, has launched a program to donate 1,000 “Building Tet” gift sets to sanitation workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
The donation ceremony was held at Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, District 1, with the presence of Mr. Trinh Huu Anh – Head of the Publishing, Printing, and Distribution Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information & Communications; Mr. Le Anh Tuan – Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of Legal Policy Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trong Tinh – Director of Social Work Center, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; along with local authorities, Coteccons leadership, and workers.
This event is part of the larger “Building Tet 2024” program, jointly organized by Coteccons and Nhan Dan Newspaper, aiming to deliver nearly 17,000 Tet gift sets to workers across the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, focusing on cities such as Hanoi, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Quang Ngai, and Ho Chi Minh City…
Recognizing the immense contributions of sanitation workers, the program seeks to express gratitude and appreciation for their hard work. “Building Tet” is not only a meaningful initiative but also an opportunity to bring people together and foster stronger community bonds.
In his speech, Mr. Trinh Huu Anh thanked Coteccons for the company social responsibility efforts, particularly in caring for workers by distributing nearly 30,000 “Building Tet” gifts over the past two years, including many workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
“For Coteccons, showing appreciation to the workforce is paramount. We are in this beautiful city surrounded by magnificent and clean buildings, thanks to the sweat and tears of countless workers who have built these great structures. Sadly, society’s recognition of their contribution often falls short. Coteccons is committed to spreading this message of gratitude to all direct workers,” said Mr. Vo Hoang Lam, CEO of Coteccons.
Coteccons is dedicated to recognizing the hands that build monumental projects. “Building Tet” is an initiative the company strives to maintain and expand annually. In addition, Coteccons is committed to creating a professional, fair, and sustainable working environment for workers through various activities such as safety training, gift exchanges, and summer cooling water programs. Through these efforts, Coteccons aims to make a positive impact on the construction industry and society.
With the expansion of the program each year, Coteccons hopes to spread and call for the consensus of units, partners, and ministries and departments to join hands to protect workers – the vulnerable group in the industry value chain.
