Ho Chi Minh City, December 12, 2022 – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company and Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper sign a cooperation agreement to launch the project “Build Tet 2023” with the companionship of the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social.

Build 12,000 Tet for construction workers with Coteccons

Vietnam’s construction sector is characterized by its reliance on a workforce, commonly known as “construction workers.” Hardworking construction workers, on the other hand, are intrinsically less concerned with working conditions. As a construction industry leader and a partner to over 20,000 workers, Coteccons understands the challenges they face. After two years of COVID, construction workers are eagerly looking forward to this time; however, the construction business is witnessing various swings that influence construction workers’ psychology. As a result, Coteccons proposed launching a special project for the first time in the construction business, with the theme “Build Tet” and a message of heartfelt gratitude to the hardworking individuals who have been working on iconic projects with safety and on-time delivery.

Mr. Pham Quan Luc, Deputy CEO of Coteccons, shared: “Because the workforce is the center of Coteccons’ development and the main concern in allocating the company’s resources at the end of the year, we have balanced the company’s activities to focus on implementing “Build Tet.” With the companionship of 2000 engineers and employees and 500 partners and customers, we are giving 12,000 warm Tet gifts, which are far more valuable both in terms of spirit and material. “Build Tet” will be implemented synchronously at the construction sites on the final working days to assure construction progress.”

Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper—the information and communication agency of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs—jointly implements the Build Tet 2023 project with the aim of Building Futures with sustainability values for the community and ensuring the rights of the workers.

In addition to gift giving, Coteccons will have many activities, such as cutting hair for workers at the construction sites, taking Tet photos, and giving away tickets/car rides back home.

Each Tet gift is worth 300,000 VND, helping the worker have a warmer Tet holiday.

Accompanying the project “Build Tet 2023,” Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper created a special column “Build Tet” with the aim of conveying the project’s message with many meaningful humanistic contents and at the same time bringing Tet welcoming stories, spreading love, positive values, and faith for a better life. The Build Tet column of Dan Tri’s electronic newspaper has a variety of content, fully reflecting the Tet atmosphere through the following sub-categories: Tet Rhythm, Warm New Year, Safe New Year, Tet Market, and Spring Palace. The column is created in a priority position on the Dan Tri homepage, released in December 2022.

Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper, shared: “Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper always appreciates the good values that businesses contribute to the community. As a result, the collaboration with Coteccons for the 2023 Tet Construction project is part of the contribution that media organizations like Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper strive to convey to society.”We are committed to bringing meaningful and humane content from the project to all readers across the country.”

Following the success of the photo contest “Spring in Love” in 2021, Dan Tri continues to organize a photo contest “Working Beauty” with the desire to honor the images of Vietnamese workers on the occasion of spring. The contest looks for photos that capture moments in professional work, labor, production, and construction activities. The contest will be officially launched during the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit in 2023. Readers of the Dan Tri electronic newspaper can submit the photos through the landing page on the newspaper’s Tet special page.

Within the framework of the Build Tet 2023 project, 12,000 gifts given to construction workers are the beginning of the commitments made by Coteccons, Dan Tri, and their partners for the sake of the community. Moreover, this is also a driving force to promote not only Coteccons, Dan Tri but also other businesses to join hands to create a better future.

Dan Tri and Coteccons call on partners to join hands to donate gifts to bring a happy Tet to 12,000 construction workers across construction sites.
