Receiving meaningful gifts from the “Build Tet 2024” program, hundreds of workers at the Ecopark construction site expressed their joy and excitement.
On the morning of January 9th, the key activity of the “Build Tet 2024” program took place at the Ecopark construction site, Van Giang District, Hung Yen Province. At the event, nearly 1,800 gifts were given to the workers who tirelessly worked day and night.
According to Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, with the spirit of “mutual assistance,” actively implementing social welfare policies, and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers, on the occasion of Tet Giap Thin 2024, Nhan Dan Newspaper, in collaboration with Coteccons Group, organized the “Build Tet 2024” program, giving nearly 17,000 Tet gifts to workers at construction sites across the country.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien, Executive Director of Coteccons, driven by Coteccons’ culture of gratitude and the desire to bring a happy Tet to the workers directly contributing to the success of the project, this is the second year Coteccons has implemented the “Build Tet” program. The program has received more support from investors, suppliers, subcontractors, and media partners.
“Through ‘Build Tet 2024,’ the organizers hope to convey the message of a warm, shared Tet, expressing gratitude to the workers and employees working at construction sites in Hung Yen Province and other provinces and cities across the country,” emphasized Comrade Le Quoc Minh.
Workers expressed their happiness when receiving the meaningful Tet gifts. For them, Tet seems to have come a little closer… “Receiving these gifts makes us feel warmer. I will take this gift home for my family in the coming days,” said Tran Van Quang, a worker at the Ecopark construction site.
On January 9th, a total of nearly 1,800 gifts were given to workers in Hung Yen Province by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Coteccons Group. Besides distributing gifts, the organizers also conducted free medical check-ups for the workers at the Ecopark construction site. “Being taken care of in both health and morale, that’s a joy that’s hard to come by for us,” shared a male worker.
